How to attract Goldfinches to your Garden ?

the best way to plant sunflowers.
I plant some sunflowers in my garden in mid April,later on little more end of April again,little more in mid May again and some more end of May lastly.
in this way you can see the goldfinches in your garden from May till august,september-october depends on when you plant the sunflowers last ones.

hi welcome to wab thistles my neibourgh was going to cut them down she did not and was rewarded by gold finch feeding on them



oh just seen you are in turkey not sure if you have thistles ????

A feeder with niger seeds. Or leave plants with their seed heads on (thistle, sunflower, teasel) and they should find them. Good luck - they are a lovely visitor.

Lavender - leave flower heads on some bushes. Goldfinches always came and ate the seeds, remembering the bushes under the apple trees every year.

I have Cosmos flowers most of the Summer in fact a couple are still flowering the Goldfinches love the seed heads
