I was interested if any attempts at rehabilitation such as this had been attempted in the past and could find no reference in the reports i was reading which i considered lacking in objectivity.
Dont want to come across as lauding his activities but i'd rather see a solution and as remarked upon the current system is failing to achieve this. |

Regards, Audrey. | The main thing for me - is that this person is now identifiable to us all. I'm not in the Law Profession - I can only suggest you ask someone who is a senior learned member of that profession on the best ways of enforcement. (Whether they would be used on that person is another matter.)
We both , I'm sure are equally aware of how the Authorities seem to have problems in monitoring / enforcing criminals who have ASBO's served upon them - including those who are even Electonicly 'tagged' . And that's for really abhorent things like rape.........
If I knew how to make those ideas watertight - and also had the monetary/time resources at my/societies disposal in order to achieve a 100% success rate - I'd probablly be earning a nice big wage courtesy of Her Majestys Home Office.
I don't - but just because I don't-does this mean I shouldn't express any ideas or indeed - opinions on how to protect rare birds from his obsession?
If I could suggest one more thing:- that after his sentance is completed - that his car & all subsequent cars of his be fitted with some sort of signal -emitter that was monitored by the police, and that if it went further than , say , a 10 mile radius from his Home address, an Alarm sounded,
'somewhere' - as I don't think the chap would do very well if he had to rely on Public Transport in his quest for Rare Eggs.
No doubt he would complain to the European Court of Human Rights - it's a pity,IMO there is no equivalent body in relation to Rare Birds of the E.U. |

The convicted person doesn't have to be contrite or have behaved well in prison - the halving of the sentence is automatic.
