I went down to the shore at Broughtyferry,Dundee looking for lapwings and got a quick snap of this pipit. Can anyone I.D. which it is?

P.s Am inclined toward Rock but might be Water. Could just as well be Paper or Scissors.

I will go with rock pipit for this one would expect water pipit to lighter looking and can not see distinct superciliuum of water pipit or more better marked wing bars. MIKE |
