Cleaning Blue Tit box

I have a what was originally a feeder with a nest box above it outside the Kitchen window, purchased by previous owner. Anyway, Blue Tits have nested in it for the past two seasons. To clean it out I would need to remove the roof and replace it.

Should I clean it out or leave it?

Have you noticed if it's being used as a roost? If it is I would leave it. If it's used next year the Blue Tits will do their own clean up.
