| | | Ring-billed Gull Took these shots of 'Waldo' the Ring-billed Gull this afternoon.
Common Gulls are often mistaken for Ring-billed Gulls, but note the pale eye on this bird whereas Common Gulls have a dark eye. The Ring-billed also appears front heavy and long winged with pale horn coloured legs as opposed to the Common's greenish legs.
Cheers,
Adam |

For a few years there was a regular wintering bird near me on playing fields at Uxbridge which was my first UK Ring-billed Gull. |
