| | | French bird ID Please I know this forum is for British wildlife but I'm going mad trying to identify this bird I saw on walk along an Etang (seawater lake) near Narbonne on the Mediterranean coast.
It was about the size of a goldfinch and had yellow/gold legs and feet. It was feeding in the mud.

Yes it was taken yesterday, 27/11, though like in the UK it has been a very mild Autumn and wildlife is a bit mixed up with their seasons, we got eaten alive by Mossies which doesn't happen too often around here approaching December. |
