Your probably right Aeshna , i couldnt bring to mind if the adult female had a grey breast or orange like the head and quick look in nearby collins revealed they dont show an adult female.Got collins a few weeks back and must say i'm starting to get disappointed with theyre lack of adult females and full winter plumages on a lot of birds.Any suggestions for a second guide as a cross reference which is better suited to this ?
