| | | A good day on Dee estuary today Had good day to day on Dee estuary starting at inner marsh farm (burton wetlands) highlights there were huge numbers of pintail on one of pools female marsh harrier and cracking views of male stone chat,
then down to parkgate for the high tide highlights great white egret showing well very late spotted redshank, 1 brief sighting of short eared owl, peregrine over head and great black backed gull trying to catch teal
then down to red rocks for last hour were 2 snow bunting seen and rock pipit.
good day all round for both me and shrike. in all about 50 different species seen |
