Collared doves becoming a pest

I havent got the dish things on the bottom of mine so my 2 collared doves do they're best to hoover up the spill but i could do with a few more , so i'll have a couple off you

I get a few in the garden but they are unable to perch on my feeders and can only feed from the bird table I have for them and do good job of cleaning up spill from feeders and they do a good job at that , I love them

Yes if you don't want them on the feeders take the trays off and let them hover the dropped seeds off the floor.

I always have a pair of them come down everyday. So sweet the 2 of them...
i find them kinda romantic birds..

I'm getting 6 or 7 most days at the moment. I like the feeders with trays as it does help to prevent too much going on the ground, but agree that it would be a good idea to dispense with them as the CDs can't perch on the bars. Actually, it's quite amusing to watch their antics when they do land on a feeder with no tray!

Harpendon is not a Peregrine area unfortunately!! They would soon get rid of them.

Have not seen any collared doves in my garden yet plenty of woodies though. My main problem is with house sparrows decending in swarms and decimating my seed feeders, poor old blue tits dont get a look in.
