| | | Tavistock birds We spent a few days around Tavistock, in the tin tent, we saw several Dippers where the Tavy is close to the town. Tawny Owls, Fieldfares, Redstarts, etc.

Tawny Owls, Fieldfares, Redstarts, etc. | My grandad lives nearby so I've spent many days there in summer and christmas times. The river Tavy walk between the bridges is where I used to see grey wagtails (something I rarely saw) and I saw my first dipper upstream at a trout farm. Did you see any of the trout in the river? |

| | | Re: Tavistock birds We saw the dippers from the bridge near the Co-Op end of the town.
The water was rising and too coloured to see any fish, we did see a stoat.
