The persecution sickens me too. I find it so sad that in amongst all the wonderful work and success strories in creating the right habitat etc for some species, we are watching other species being destroyed because of deliberate human acts.
Thank for mentioning it here Fudgey.
Cheers,
Bryan

| | | re: Petition for Raptor Protection Thanks for the heads up on this Fudgey.
I've signed it and have also posted the petition link on both my own Facebook account as well as the Facebook Wildlife Photographers (WPG) group

| | | Re: Petition for Raptor Protection personally I dont think 'raptor politics' are helping the situation - remember all that xexexexe earlier in the year between them and the northumbria WLO, so no I wont be signing their petition
and as it happens raptors dont need more protection they are fully protected under the Wildlife and countryside Act 1981 as ammended by Countryside and Rights of way act 2000 anyway, so theres no need for it to be debated in the house , and in fact such debate is undesirable as it will just provide a vehicle thate muppets like songbird survival will use to present their distorted 'other side of the coin'
