Spot the Treecreeper

Spot the Treecreeper , or the alternative title is...why I`m getting a new camera!

Had fun watching this little guy running up and down trees, but couldnt get a good picture.

I`ll get him again when I have a decent camera (I hope) Its there ....honest.....

Re: Spot the Treecreeper

Do you want to see my very similar pictures of a nuthatch, Za?

I spot the little blighter! Great fun to watch these little birds. I love the way that they use their tails against the trunk. Is this a regular local bird for you? Be interested to see your results with your 'decent camera'. Good luck.

Re: Spot the Treecreeper

I think I see it Za, just below the Ivy. Incredible little birds but also incredibly difficult to photograph even with a good camera. They always seem to be on the shady side of the tree or the opposite side to which you are. Good luck

Re: Spot the Treecreeper

I have been down to Fleet Pond in Hampshire twice recently and seen treecreepers and nuthatches both times,I hope to get back down soon with my new camera when it arrives and try to catch them before there are too many leaves on the trees to spot them.

I would like to see Badgerwatchers nuthatch pictures, my camera batteries died just as I was about to take a shot of one, but I`m sure it would have been equally as marvellous as my treecreeper picture

I was using my Award Winning Pentax Optio E10, unfortunately the award it won was "worst digital camera of all time". I am getting a Canon PowerShot C3 hopefully next week, so after a bit of practice I might be able to get some at least half decent shots.

Well done CB. Isn't it frustrating when they just won't turn the right way to get that one shot. Never mind I'm sure there will be another chance sometime soon.

Its the speed they go up the tree that fascinates me.When beryl said look theres the treecreeper i immediately focused on him or thought I had.Had to follow him up before he stopped long enough to get the photo

Well done Cherrybee, much clearer than mine! I went round the tree about a dozen times following it hehe. They never seem to stay still.
