Great Bird Feeders (or I think so)

I came across these rather large birdcage planters today, and I WANT some!

I think they'd make great cat-proof bird feeders... but when I asked the BF if he thought they'd look really great swinging from our trees, (the smallest is 43 cm tall; the big one is 57cm) he looked at me like this and said no.

I reminded him that Christmas is coming. He still said no.

I told him that it's important to deter 'unwelcome visitors' from birdfeeders, and showed him the photo Fudgey posted... he wasn't convinced.

I think he might be annoyed because I came back from the shops with a bag of cashew nuts for the parakeets. And two big seed bells for the sparrows....that might have possibly tipped him over the edge a bit. Good thing the eBay bargain bird table didn't arrive today.

Is this post just an elaborate ploy to get us to look at the post 'Fudgey' gave us strict instructions to ignore?
