| | | What bird is this? Hi all,
I was out delivering parcels in the countryside of Whitchurch yesterday and spotted this in the trees...
I see alot of Buzzards and Kestrels when in these areas, but this was massive, so just got me thinking... I'm not pretending to know about birds, but was more shocked at the size of this... |

| | | Re: What bird is this? It still has its jesses on. I have been on a 'Hawk Walk' with a harris hawk, and yes they can be a bit temperamental and head off on their own for a while... Usually find their way back on their own. The police would be able to pass the info on to any falconers looking for a hawk gone awol... |

| | | Re: What bird is this? Heck of a lot of these escaping lately due to inexperienced people taking up falconry as a hobby without getting any proper training first.
Cheers,

| | | Re: What bird is this? I know what you mean Adam, I believe that in america, the rules are that you can not have a bird of prey, until you have been through a course. Anyway what kind of irresponsible fool would take on a raptor with out having some form of training first. |
