| | | Re: Making my own suet blocks I used the tin foil pie trays last year 10 for about 40p, failing that tin foil shaped on a baking tray then cut blocks to size when cool. |

| | | Re: Making my own suet blocks Yeah I used the chinese takeaway plastic ones and the water cooler cups for use in the cylinder type feeder, both worked well. |

| | | Re: Making my own suet blocks Reminds me of an old "Not the Nine O'Clock News" sketch.
Doctor to Patient: I'm afraid I've got bad news to tell you - you've got the highest cholesterol count ever recorded.
Patient: Oh dear!
Doctor: Can you do one thing for me, please?
Patient: What?
Doctor: When you die, can I have your body to hang out for the blue-tits?

| | | Re: Making my own suet blocks I make fat feeders my self for birds, I use many things as molds cups trays and also have hooks which I can set in some to hang from trees as well as putting some in cages, I use suet some times but most of time it they are the fat I cut from pork beef or lamb chops, or joints this I melt by cooking very slow in oven then strain into a big pot till I need it, great way for makeing pork scratchings as well, alway put a mix of seeds insects in the ones I make birds love them MIKE |
