white starling..

saw a pure white starling today ith a medium sized flock .. first one i've ever seen.. seen a few partially white blackbirds but never a starling... looked really nice... anyone else ever seen one?

I've never seen one in the flesh but have seen photos. Certainly unusual + they have a greater chance of being picked off by predators such as Sparrowhawks.

This one was in the garden for a few days last year. As has been said; they don't usually survive for long. Although this one knew it was at risk, as it was extremely nervous, going back and forth from cover to feed.

Rubbish pic taken through double glazing and very poor light, but you can see it's a white Starling.

Starlings are brave birds, but grey ones the most.
Especially the grey starling rescuing sailors
Off the Northumbrian coast.
