| | | Re: Two for i/d please not familiar with brent geese but gonna stick my neck out on pipit and go for water pipit due to dark legs ,eyebrow,greyish looking upperpars and white wing bar. |

| | | Re: Two for i/d please Thanks for that guys, the Brent goose was all alone on Par beach in Cornwall, the Pipit was the other end of the beach picking in the seaweed with Pied wagtails. |

Most brents in southern England are the Dark-bellied race. The Pale-bellied form occurs mainly in the north-east in England around the Lindisfarne area, though obviously wandering birds do occur further south. To my eyes the belly is much darker in the photo than any Pale-bellied.
