What's the strangest thing that you've seen in or from a bird/wildlife hide?

I was at Durlston CP in Dorset on Monday and just about made it to the clifftop dolphin-watching hide as the heavens opened. As I entered, there were three men inside singing quite heartily. When they finished they carried on with what was obviously a religious service of some Christian denomination, yet they were dressed as if for birdwatching. The older chap was clearly 'the vicar' as he was leading the service, and the other two his 'congregation'. When they finished they carried along the coast path. Perhaps they were seeking guidance from above?

I went into the hide at Sutton Bingham reservoir last year and found a middle-aged chap, ermm, 'enjoying' some Gentleman's Interest literature. I would have made my excuses and left (in true News of the World style) but there was a green-winged teal knocking about so he had to go Left his art pamphlet though, which was considerate of him.
