Not quite an adult, it’s a Herring Gull in its third winter, should show adult plumage next year.

Agree it's a Herring Gull, though I'm more inclined to a second winter as though it has an adult type mantle, the coverts are still mainly immature type feathers + extensive black still on the tail. |

Ok I’ll go with 2nd winter too then, I was in some doubt myself but decided that it had to much white showing on the primary tips and to clean a mantle so went for 3rd winter.
