| | | Lots of Swallows this morning. Opened the curtains this morning to see lots of Swallows flying around. Isn't it quite late? Perhaps summer is still here. |

Considering your location, I'm not at all surprised that you are seeing Swallows this late in the year, even if quite a few are present. These will most likely be a late migrating flock that is making the most of a good feeding opportunity. The last Swallows tend to linger until the end of October, and frequently well into November in the south, particularly in the south-west (although most will have left the country and probably be well south of the Sahara by now).
