Lucky Find

I went for a short walk with my dogs and I was undecided if I should take my camera with me.
Boy; I'm glad I took it with me now!
I couldnt believe my luck a photographical Smew and Little Owl on my Local patch.
I did have to get on my belly and crawl 30yds for the Smew. I wonder what my dogs thought when I was crawling along?
I was glad no one else was around to see me crawling in the wet grass

Re: Lucky Find

Nice, what a result. But I am wondering 'Why crawl on your belly? Presumably so there was less of you to see?' mmm

Re: Lucky Find

Nice shots. What were you doing that the owl was so disapproving of?

Re: Lucky Find

Great photo of the owl

Smartie maybe it was the crawling on the belly that caused the owl look !!!

Re: Lucky Find

Lovely photos. I don't know how you managed to spot that owl.

Re: Lucky Find

You are so lucky to see and take a picture of the owl in its own environment although it doesn't look too happy your in with it

Mark had previously told me of the little owl too and I managed to get this shot back in December
