Ravens do tend to stay in pairs, and will regularly be seen together.
I'm a bit confused by the reference to "smaller ravens in the town" though. Ravens don't tend to vary a huge amount in size, and are typically not a bird found in towns in any part of the UK. I would suspect that the smaller birds are another crow species.

I agree that the first and second photos show Raven & Common Buzzard, and I think that the third may show a Raven as well (although it's difficult to be certain of the latter).
