| | | Help with bird identification Hello. I shot this picture this morning from my window - but I'm having a few problems finding out what it is from the RSPB book. It's obviously a warbler of somekind, but I cannot match its colours and wing pattern - any ideas? Thanks in advance.

| | | Re: Help with bird identification Thanks for those replies. I always thought a Wren was darker, but I'm no expert. I also caught this little visitor today - unfortunately the back of it disappearing into a bush. Now, I'm probably wrong again, but the only bird in the book I can find which almost matches the pattern is a Juvenile Goldcrest. Am I correct? |

| | | Re: Help with bird identification Well, I managed to get another look at this lovely bird. She has been back three times now and this time I managed to get a little bit of video. Excuse the wobbly bits, but she wasn't the easiest bird to capture. A rare sight of a Goldcrest - smallest bird in Europe. - YouTube | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
