| | | Re: Labrador Bay Well, there's Dawlish Warren and Exminster Marshes south of Exeter, good for waders, seabirds etc., Berry Head in Brixham for farmland birds, seabirds and possibly a good chance here of Cirl Bunting. Prawle Point, the southmost tip of Devon where you can get Cirl Bunting and other farmland birds and seabirds. Dartmoor, particularly Yarner Wood, is good though there will be fewer species at this time of year. Check rivers with white water for Dipper. The river Dart is good but any watercourse can hold them.
Cheers,

Half a day will soon go, it's very hilly.

| | | Re: Labrador Bay Adam's just about covered the best places in the area. The only other addition would be Bowling Green Marsh, near Topsham (at the edge of Exeter).

| | | Re: Labrador Bay Nearer to Torquay is Watcombe Down and Watcombe Woods and Hope's Nose (The point in my previous pic)
North of Labrador bay is the river Teign, lots of small creeks etc. There's a small reed bed behind the Coombe Cellars pub.
Also on the north side of the Teign there is Little Haldon and Ideford Common. |
