Late Goldfinch

Had a couple goldfinch together today which must have fledged this week. Has anyone else seen any really young birds where they are recently? This species success may be based around their ability to breed for a large part of the year, I have never seen one this young so late in the year. The tail had barely started to grow.

Still getting some young birds coming to feeders not as young as one you seen, but still very young had two on today with with shorter tails than other juvs in garden at same time both were still trying to beg for food sat on feeder arms was about to post about this till I seen your post

I'm still seeing some pretty young house sparrows and jackdaws.

majority of my Goldfinches are juveniles and they do seem to be at different stages of moult.
