| | Large Bird? 
If anyone could ID this Bird for me i would be grateful, living in an urban area this is a very rare sight, unfortunately the picture isn't very good as i only had a 200mm zoom attached at the time and this bird was really high, in fact there were two of them circling closely together they seemed to be soaring quite effortlessly with no wing beats, i am wondering if they are prehaps buzzards as they were huge? |

| | | Re: Large Bird? Hi Sweedie, welcome to WAB, sounds very much like buzzards behaviour and the picture looks to me pretty good for buzzard, Im sure someone will be along soon who can give a definitive answer.
They are certainly becoming more widespread, I saw some over central London a few months back. |

thanks RoyW i have a few more pics where you can see a more fringed look to the edge of the wings so i think common buzzard is the most likely, needed expert opinions, thanks all |
