spotted yesterday several various sized flocks of pink footed geese flying over then mid morning 16 whooper swans flying low over head and heading south  |

Yes, the recent spell of warm weather doesn't seem to be fooling the Whoopers - Welney WWT reserve down here on the Cambs/Norfolk border had their first group of 9 Whoopers fly in a couple of weeks ago

Im not to far from martin mere ( as the swan flys ) you find quite a few there as well as on the surrounding fields
Ive had a few flocks of fieldfares coming over this morning and the resident sparrowhawk as just paid a visit
Its not bad when concider im at work and getting paid as well  |
