| | | Today's bird activity I thought I would share my count of birds in the garden today - as it seemed to be much more than any other day I've seen. This was noted within a 45 minute period this morning... 15 Wood Pigeons (at the same time all together)
1 Green Woodpecker (was feeding almost all day)
2 Jays
1 pair of Nuthatches (first time spotted in the garden)
1 Willow Warbler
All the usual Tits and Robins
And, countless Magpies and Crows cleaning up a dead dove which appeared overnight.
Unfortunately, I then had to get on with some work, but I could have sat there all day watching all the goings on.

Cheers,
Adam | I'm don't think so Adam. I took a picture of one yesterday and studied the RSPB book. To me, it was far too yellow to be a chiffchaff, but it's worth another check next time it appears. |
