This little bird came right on to the seat I was resting on, in Parcevall House Gardens, in Wharfedale (looking very good at this time of year and free entry to RHS members this month). The house being used as a retreat may make the local wild life feel quite safe, in such peaceful surroundings.
I did wonder about the strange bird calls, a bit like a Kookaburra, then somebody sawing wood, till I saw the Guinea Fowl. Cute but noisy.  |

Funny how only certain birds, Robins and Chaffinches in my experience, are so bold.  |

Robins seem to demand to have their photo taken, then you are allowed to move on
