Where have the garden birds gone?

I have been feeding garden birds for about 2 years. I have had lots of common garden visitors like sparrows and tits etc and quite a few more interesting ones like goldfinches goldcrest. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed the absence lately. I don't think I have seen a bird in my garden for around a month now. I live in town and in north east of England.

Probably just foraging else where in near by fields looking to feed up - sure they will be back very soon

I find it goes a little quite around now but normally back in winter when I put the feeders back up.

I think it's just your localised area, it happens.
Nothing unusual here, they're all about !
Be watchful over the next 10 to 14 days though because the temps are predicted to fall away quite sharply so the birds will get a bit of a shock with it, make sure all the food's still on offer.
