| | | Bird feeders minimum height ? Im starting to run out of space to hang feeders in my small garden and before i pay out for a shepherds crook or something similar i was thinking of just running a pole diagonally from fence to fence in the corner of the garden. However this would suspend the feeders at a little over 4 feet from the ground , is this too low ? |

| | | Re: Bird feeders minimum height ? I would say so if there are visiting cats that can get into the garden.
There are some better deals than just the shepherds crooks though, look for the various Gardman 'trees' because there are some very very good deals to be had.
The local hardware and 'cheapie' shops often have them too so shop around |

| | | Re: Bird feeders minimum height ? My in-laws used to have their one and only feeder hanging under their plastic table, so it was pretty much ground level! They did get a Wren make use of it fairly often, but not sure I would advise it, makes it too easy for the cats
