| | | Who's nest? I found a Small Blue egg on the ground today. I hunted for the nest it must have come from and found an empty shallow nest made of moss. I assume the egg fell out but it could have been predated I suppose. Could be be a dunnock's or a robin's? |

Sounds like hedge sparrow/dunnock their eggs are light blue. Robins has browny red speckles.  Pity about the nest |

I know the dunnocks have built another nest somewhere else in the garden so I hope they will still raise a brood.
