Do female songbirds sing?

I've been reading (scant info!) that some female songbirds sing but don't know which of those in Britain do. Can someone help?

Several of the Thrush family sub-sing, which is to say they do a much quieter 'singing-to-themselves' sort of song. The main bird known for singing females is the Robin, which sings only in winter.

isnt the toowit towoo a male and female tawny owl in unison ?
i know these arent songbirds but just interested if this is male/female or 2 hunting birds
