| | | Great Glen trip Hoping someone can help with advice for spotting wildlife in the Loch Lochy area in October. I'm staying with my family in a log-cabin in Kilfinnan for 3 nights. I know there are pine martens in the area and I'll leave out some snacks for them but I wanted to know of any good spots nearby for birds of prey or owls? I was also wondering if any divers will be around in October and would I have a good chance of seeing Ptarmigan in the hills around Loch Lochy? I plan to take a trip to Lochs Arkaig and Garry and also up to Glen Affric but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks,
