Jim | *raises hand* I'm living in Chiswick right now, very close to Kew Gardens and you can't move for parakeets. They're all over the place.
I know they're one of those species you aren't supposed to like because they aren't native, but I do enjoy seeing them. I only ever see pigeons and magpies otherwise (not that there's anything wrong with those either!) |

Thousands of Parakeets came swarming over the Heath in waves of upto several hundred at a time at less than head height and flying around me so I could feel the whoosh of air from their wings. Fantastic!
