| | | Bird feeder snails I have a feeder on a pole outside my front window, for several weeks now the feeder ports have been blocked with snails. The birds don't even attempt to move them, they just sit there looking at the feeder.
I put a wide flat collar on the pole and even sprayed the pole with teflon, but they still get up there. Any ideas?

| | | Re: Bird feeder snails What about sandpaper wrapped around the pole and taped on? The snails may not like the rough surface.

| | | Re: Bird feeder snails Copper works very well but as well as copper tape, you can simply wrap some copper wire tightly round your pole in a spiral. this worked very well for me when I had same problem few years back and still working now MIKE | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
