my first ever photo of a nuthatch after this photo there were two of them wot a good day out

thanks alot there are very tricky to photograph with the bad light and the fact that they never stop still for long but all in all a good day dodgeing the rain

Well done great pic I no what you mean about them not staying still.
And they are doing well in some places think they have had a good year near to me I have had juvs on my feeders for the 1st time ever this aug and only normaly get adults from about dec onwards to march

Well done.. i find em a bit of a poser at times, when they were in my garden last year , i had a couple of pics through the window....love the bird.

Excellent photo showing a perfect pose. I think theses are one of the best birds to photograph, they are so lovely and fascinating to watch.

yes watch them all the time in me mams back garden, and nitice how they always feed upside down, lovely birds. rossy.
