Don't forget folks, it's the Big Garden Birdwatch at the end of January.
All it entails is for you to watch and take note of the number of birds you see within the space of one hour either in your garden or in your local park, etc., on Saturday 28th or Sunday 29th January 2006.

I have downloaded my count sheet,seem to have all the usual visitors this morning,including a bullfinch with only one leg!The running water from my short "stream" seems very popular(see garden pond in the gallery)

arghh!! im moving house this weekend, moving in with the girl friend.. am i going to find time to do a bird count as well?! which is more important the birdwatch or the girlfriend?!!!.....

I am sure that if you explain to her how important the Big Garden Birdwatch really is and that it is only for an hour, she, being utterly reasonable as are all females, will be most willing for you to take part. Remember also to bring to her attention that it will be an ideal oppertunity to discover what birds are frequenting your new garden.

lol i would never try to reason with her on it!! (though saying that she is quite understanding of my interests)
i should be able to have a go at some point, i could always use it as a welcome mid day break...
