birds for id

Hi can any one help id these for me . There was a flockof about 30 or 40 of these at Barking Bay which is about 5 mile up river from Rainham rspb.

sorry there not great photo's but the birds were constantly moving

My own best guess would be linnets but i,m not sure

You couldn't make a better "guess" - the are Linnets.

Thanks Roy when i say guess it did include looking at rspb bird identifier and then looking at other images on web.

Thats why I put it in quote marks - it didn't really seem like you'd just pulled the name out of the air!
