fledgling dove help!
are fledling doves still dependant on their parents after leaving the nest for the first time? i need this answer quickly because there is one outside but there are also lots of cats!

If it is a collared dove these are dependent on perents for about 8 day after they have Left the nest is this one flying ok? if so I would leave it be for now.

it isnt, hes just a white dove, there are around twenty nesting here! i got quite close to him and then after a while he got nervous and flew- he was fling at about 3foot of the ground but gradually lost altitude, one of the cats ran after it so i had to intervene. i dont want to take him from his natural habitat but i also dont want it to be cat food... its a hard desicion:/
