| | | Re: Children under threat from eagles Propositions:
1.) The only BOP which can lift more than its own body weight is the female Harpy Eagle.
2.) The White Tailed Sea Eagle has a maximum weight of <7kg.
3.) A human baby at 7kg/15lb is still in a pram or pushchair, or very much under Mum's watchful eye.
4.)Scottish gamekeepers have a strong vested interest in killing BOP that threaten their precious grouse.
Conclusion:
5.) Someone's telling porkies.

Best of luck to the birds but it seems that the organisation who decided to release them there were actively courting controversy.

Something should be done! | I was once closely acquainted with a welsh lassie in a previous life and let me tell you that a dragon wouldn't last two minutes with her. It's more likely the dragons being ravished by the maidens. Either way they do both seem in short supply.

| | | Re: Children under threat from eagles A cull of robins is needed!
These dangerous birds attack humans. I had one nesting in the shed once and it used to attack my head every time I went in. Vicious creatures!
Wait a minute - perhaps we don't have to cull them after all - they don't prey on game birds!
