Grey Heron
Taken at our local country park yesterday....

He (or she) was motionless on the lake for what seemed like forever (lunging for the small fish), didn't flinch even when my dogs were running about barking with their sticks etc.
He only flew off when he was ready to move on

Beautiful. I always think they look like a witch on a broomstick when they are flying!
