| | | Osprey + Whimbrel = good day!
On Monday I got a tip off while at work that an osprey had turned up, not aneveryday event in Essex. Whats more this bird was perched and not too far away either, just within reach of reasonable photos. 
Later after work I headed down to the tidal creek and there wa my first whimbrel of the year and my best views and photos of one yet. 
I've had worse days! |

Yes, with the sigma 150-500mm. Its a great set up, pushing the ISO to 1600 without having to worry too much about noise is useful! |
