It has been observed in several bird species which you would'nt expect such as kestrel and barn owl. A fish just below the surface would be quite and easy meal I guess. |

V remarkable. What was also interesting was the way it stretched its long legs to keep its feathers dry and clear of the water. |

I wonder if this practice is a learnt behaviour with a local population or whether they can all fish? The stream needs to be very shallow it seems otherwise they risk being water-logged. Amazing footage.
