Wood pigeon with broken leg?

Rock pigeons (usually better known as rock doves) are not too common. More likely a racing pigeon or a feral one. Can you post a photo without stressing the bird further?

The ark Wildlife hospital is exactly what I was going to mention.

I have taken a wood pigeon there before.

We saw the bird laying quietly on a footpath near us so immediately found a box for the bird (lots of cats in the area).

Called the RSPCA whom were of no help at all.

Eventually took the bird to the wildlife hospital and found out a few weeks later the bird made a full recovery.
