| | | Re: night caller Thanks folks... I don't know much about birds yet, admittedly, but I'm convinced they are not starlings; (young or old) - they are my least favourite birds and we get a lot of them round here so they are one of the six birds I can recognise.
I'm interested in the Redwing idea, and I'll check out a bird site or two; are they "special "?
I'm also still interested in whether the balance of opinion thinks my night caller is a little or a tawny owl
