| | | night bird id hi, i know that this is going to sound really vague - but last night i was awakened by a bird noise. i will try and 'explain' it. a high single note followed by 3 short lower pitch notes. this was repeated 5 or 6 times. i've put it down as a little owl. i have checked all the 'night birds' on my birdguide dvd, but nothing sounds quite the same. any other suggestions! annie |

| | | Re: night bird id thanks for those suggestions - definitely more 'owly' than garden bird - so maybe i will put it down as a little owl. we occasionally get them around here. |
