| | Heading for the Lincs coast, any suggestions? So I wonder if anybody can help me make a decision.
On Wednesday business takes me east, within reasonable reach of the Lincolnshire coast, and I'm eying up the possibility of getting in some birdwatching either at Freiston Shore or Frampton Marsh RSPB reserves. If anybody has any experience of either or could make a suggestion as to which might be best to visit, I'd be grateful to hear anything.
We're pretty landlocked here in Notts, and I've never gotten to the coast in Winter, so I'd like to take advantage of this special occasion. |

If you go any where near Skegness try Gibraltar point well worth a visit, lots of hides and plenty of birds around

| | | Re: Heading for the Lincs coast, any suggestions? Trip postponed until Monday, which looks better for the daytime tides anyway, otherwise I may very well have been typing up a report.
Gibralter sounds like a good suggestion but it would add an extra 40 miles to the round trip, so I'd prefer to tie myself to any one of the sites around the Wash. I think I'll probably choose Freiston Shore, at least might find myself a Corn Bunting or two. |
