My cat got a baby blackbird

Last night my cat brought a baby blackbird (fledgeling) into the garden, the poor thing was in shock so we took it in and kept it in a warm dark container.

The bird is still alive this morning and chirping away, however I've absolutely no idea where it has come from, I have no trees in my garden or around. Not really sure what to do now?

The bird is uninjured, but as I've said there are no trees so not really sure whether to release it and hope mum hears it or what?

Any advise would be brilliant.

I would not release it as it will still need it perents for food contact your local wildlife rescue asap and keep it in warm dark safe place it may also need some food in mean time but would see what rescue centre says befor trying to feed it as they can give better advice on this than me
