saw my first Nuthatch at Marsh Lane yesterday, what a great looking bird, I know many of you will have seen loads before but a first for me, unable to get a good photo weather was a bit miserable, but will go again and try

They are lovely birds, aren't they? I have a very occasional visitor to the garden but I can't persuade them to join the regular gang.

I agree a lovely bird. One of those decent species that usually tells you it's around by its loud calls- get to know them + finding another should be a (almost) doddle!

Certainly a great looking bird Mick. I have only ever seen one and that was at a distance through binoculars so this is one bird that I would love to get a good photo of. Hope you manage it in the near future
